My husband and I stayed for a week in a self-catering unit at Catherine House while my husband attended a conference. We found the accommodations very comfortable. Recently had a 5 night stay at Catherine House, after arriving from a long flight greeted with a smile from Vickie the proprietor. Vickie had kindly made us tea and coffee which was a welcome treat. We stayed at Catherine House just recently for a few days and found it a charming place. Very close to the city and close to some restaurants and shops which have apparently just opened up. We stayed here in June 2004. We were supposed to stay for 10 days but left after five. The biggest problem is that the home is situated on a very busy street, and we could hear traffic noise 24/7. The owners are extremely nice and friendly, but the self-contained apartment we stayed in, while nice, was rather dark and cramped.... More

Many thanks for your feedback... At the time the above guests stayed with us we were new owners of Catherine House. Catherine House has since undergone some beautiful renovations both internally and externally. The above apartment described in 'Nice but noisy" no longer exists...in it 's place are two fresh 'Boutique Studio Apartments' each with their own kitchenette and jazzy... More
