Recently stayed here for a night. We booked here because we were attended a wedding at 'Landings', a lovely venue located here. The room was beautifully decorated and the balcony afforded a great view of the marina and the Brisbane River from Fortitude Valley to New Farm and across to Bulimba.

I had booked into a 2 bedroom apartment for a "getaway" night of R & R, and must admit I was a little apprehensive reading some of the reviews. Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights.....even my 12 yr old warned me about the "80s feel"! The kitchen had a horrible stale smell in the cupboards and the stove definitely needs updating..The bathroom grouting was covered in mould around the bath/shower.....the queen bed had a noticeable dip in the mattress , not making for a comfortable sleep. This was my first visit to Brisbane and I stayed here for two nights. The apartments are centrally located and my room on the 6th floor had both city and river views. Besides the unexpected late check in procedure it was a pleasant stay. We arrived on Thursday at 8:03pm and they are prompt closing at 8pm. The front door was open much to the front desk employees surprise, and he was not helpful. He was more concerned how the front door was open rather than getting us checked into our room.... More

Overall, Central Dockside Hotel Apartments is located in nice area and right on the water. Convenient to water taxis and marina on the river. Front desk staff were pleasant. Nice place with reasonable rates. Family friendly as full kitchen facility with in unit laundry. Fully air-conditioned. Close to ferry terminal for access to city. Good views if you get higher floors.

After a terrible experience at the Alexander Serviced Apartments what a refreshing change at Dockside Central. Nice clean and tidy enterance with friendly and extremly staff.
