Very presentable lobby and restaurant setup. The Sofitel bedding arrangement is well known. The only flaw is that the bathrooms could do with a slight makeover. Very conveniently located in the heart of the city.

We would recommend this hotel to all types of travellers. We were a family group but there were couples, business groups, weddings and formal parties staying there on the same week-end. Australia's most expensive Internet and bottled water. This place is just Ok for an overnight business stop at best. The service was fine. Internet for $23 is unbelievable these days when most include it in room charge. Sofitel Brisbane has just finished their renovation and their rooms are improved. The rooms are nicely decorated in modern colours with French pictures. The beds are soft, warm and cosy. Enjoyed all aspects of the Sofitel. Wonderful experience. Great restaurant. Superb service. Bed comfort fantastic. Close to city. Great for access to public transport. Pop into the city on the airtrain and the hotel is just there. Top of my list for hotels in Brisbane. Will be certainly staying there again.

Sofitel is a great hotel located above Central Train Station. We had a room on the 20th Floor which was great. The beds are a little too soft for my liking but someone else may like.
