An old world charm surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. Even though the hotel is situated in a very busy area the noise factor was great as you don't hear anything from outside. The hotel was a great place to stay with hassle free parking as they get your car from the carpark and deliver it to you. With the... More

We are regular visitors to Bne and this time I decided to book us into the Royal Albert. My husband and I who enjoy a quality hotel loved the Royal Albert with it period decor giving our room charm and warmth. We stayed in one bedroom apartment and were very happy with the facilities of our accom. The apartment was... More

You couldn't get closer to the centre of Brisbane. We initially booked in for two nights but stayed an extra as we loved it. The room was lovely with a separate bedroom, yes a little dated but still great value for money. We made use of the Hotels car parking facility which was great, just hand the keys over and... More

Lovely old building that has been done up. I stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments with kitchenette & lounge area. main bedroom had a comfy double bed, IPod dock, tv & built in wardrobe. The other bedroom was tiny with a single bed- not very comfortable. The room was on a corner of the building overlooking two streets... More

An evening at the Southbank Convention Centre was enhanced by our stay at the Royal Albert Hotel. The 2 bedroom sub penthouse was more than adequate for 4 mature friends. The floor layout is huge located on a high level corner position. As the hotel is heritage listed the high quality furnishings and decor are harmonious to this era. Parking... More

I was recently in Brisbane for work and the Royal Albert was recommended to me by a friend. I was accommodated in room 211, which has 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed and TV, the other a single), a separate Bathroom and Laundry as well as a large living area including dining table, fold out sofa, flat screen TV,... We stayed in a deluxe hotel room for 4 nights in February 2012 and whilst there were things that we liked, there were others things that detracted from the stay. I'll start with the likes 1. Great location - can't beat it for access around Brisbane. Lots of cafes and restaurants in Albert street, and the river is only 10... More

Large clean quiet room with large (double glazed) windows facing onto street. Comfortable bed with extra (good quality) pillows! Kitchen & bathroom are a little dated but are fine unless you are out to impress. Restaurant downstairs has good food (not cheap) and coffee. Close to everything but better suited to people without a car. Parking expensive. More

Outstanding location, surprising value given the location. Can't really comment on service because I didn't need any. Room size is a real surprise, in a good way. Would be happy to stay here again - in fact, almost certainly will. More

My family recently stayed at the Royal Albert for 5 nights in one of the sub penthouses. I must say this place is great. Love the location and friendly staff. We will be back. More
