A very nice setting, the pool bungalow slept three of us and facilities were clean and comfortable. The hosts were charming and really helpful, the pool was good, just a shame we couldn't see any crocodiles because of the late wet season! The breakfast was adequate and the meals in the evening very good and large! Very relaxed atmosphere.

A lovely spot, despite being just off the main road. Open grassland with wallabies and billabongs and the river make it very pleasant. We stayed here middle of last year in a pool bungalow. The accommodation and retreat exceeded our expectation and found the staff were delightful. The grounds were immaculately kept and views are to die for. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, and if you want to enjoy your holiday. We will be coming back

Too bad we coud'nt stay longer at Mary River Wilderness Retreat! This is a pleasantly quiet huge property with beautiful and well maintained pool and grounds.
