“Waste of money if you need sleep”

I found the staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean but needs some refurbishment. It is not a place to stay if you have a early start in the morning. Too much noise from the down stairs bar. “Nice budget accommodation”

Quick easy check in, simple room which was nice as we only wanted to sleep after travelling for weeks. A little pricey for what it is but still good. More

This place is awful - the ants have taken over and they're everywhere, in the bedrooms, in the kitchen, I don't know how many times I found one crawling on me. The pool is flithy and so's the kitchen, the bedrooms are sparse and everywhere is in need of a good refurbishment. Our room had air con which worked fine... More

We arrived at the Ashton Lodge and was greeted by friendly and helpful staff and were shown to our room, which was sparsely furnished to say the least but clean.
