This is real 'Glamping'! The hosts are immediatley welcoming, giving a breif overview of the place and the tours on offer around the Canyon. The cabins feel very special. Appear canvas from the outside but inside have hard wood floors, airconditioning, separate bathroom. Very tastefully decorated, nothing overlooked. In the evening you are treated to a complementry drink and nibbles.... More

Wonderful! Tents don't feel like tents at all. Very spacious bathroom in the tent. No phone or internet -- most relaxing. Three course dinner outdoors and cooked-to-order breakfast. Perfectly cooked prawns (in the desert) was the most impressive. Only 10 cabins, so maximum 20 or so guests. One of our party was from the Northern Territory so we paid only... More

This was a great stay. Although the mention of tented cabins sounds rustic, the accommodation was modern, comfortable and air conditioned. The food was excellent, and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Absolutely stunning night sky. Only issue were the ants in our bathroom, which was only a small annoyance and to be expected when staying in the wilderness. More

This was undoubtedly the best part of our APT Red Centre Tour. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The air conditioned tent was comfortable and the adjoining bathroom surprisingly good. We were worried about staying in tented accommodation as camping is not our style. However, we need not have been as the tent was... More

Part of an APT tour. We were warmly welcomed and given really interesting information about the area and the station. Our tent was well equipped and very clean with a lovely view over the bush. As it was July the night was chilly and the heaters much appreciated. We thought their eco award was well deserved as there were so... More

the upside of this property are the great luxury tents and the small and boutque nature. The experience is not luxury however one of the best options. It is really quiet and not very lively at night time however very professional. More

This lodge has a main house where a very good dinner is served, a bar, a fire ring where folks can sit and chat, and tent cabins. The tent cabins have air conditioning, king size beds, and a full bath. But they are tents and the generator can wake you up at night, as can the outback animals. Folks were... More

I was concerned that the lodge primarily caters to package tours... Booking the lodge only worked out great. A bit on the expensive side, but it's really nice. Not fancy luxury, but luxury for the outback. Good location especially if making the trip onward to Alice on the backroads. More

There is really little point reviewing this place because as it's run by APT who cater for tour groups not independent travellers, and it appears they feel there is no need to create an experience that is actually worth returning for. The "luxury" safari tents are stylish and really comfortable but miss the small touches one would expect when they... More
