We went in April 2010 after a loop from Darwin-Kakadu-Litchfield-Darwin. We only stayed one night and we had the entire campsite to ourselves which was amazing!! The Anzac weekend before was apparently full the lady told us. We went fishing at the billabong. The only thing bad is all the cane toads...and what a shame they are everywhere!!

We stayed at mount bundy in the non powered section in our caravan and it was fantastic. A really country experience but also so close to Lichfield, Katherine and Darwin. Kids loved it, they could ride there bikes, ride horses, feed peacocks and water buffalo

Advertises itself as tranquil... But allows generators till 10 pm.
Generators operate in the non powered section, which just happens to be 50 feet from rooms and powered camps. Genius!

Wonderful hosts and great horse-riding opportunities.
Accommodation ranages from a self-contained cottage to campsites.
We would definitely return.
