Having read all the reviews on this site I would say I sit somewhere on the fence with my experience. Everything at Whale Beach B&B was nice, the host, the room, the location... but not exceptional, which is fine. The room we had was out the back in the garden apartment and was well renovated and comfortable. I have to... More

We are Sydney-siders who used a discount voucher to stay two nights at Whale Beach B&B. This is a stunningly beautiful part of Sydney and for couples wanting somewhere to stay locally, this fits the bill well. Lovely decor and well located to several beach. Clean, comfortable and friendly. We didn;t have breakfast there as there are so many fabulous... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Whale Beach B & B! I knew I had made the right decision to stay there the moment I stepped foot in the door. Elaine and Ted made me feel comfortable and at home straight away. The B & B has such a lovely decor, which sets the mood for a relaxing holiday.... More

What a find ! Stayed here the weekend for a wedding. Clean and comfy, and Elaine (the host) even offered to drop us at the wedding venue so we didnt have to walk in all our finery! (she said she was going that way anyway, lucky us) Reasonably priced, especially for the area and close enough to walk to beach... More

It is a b and b so my expectations were not over the top, however at $200 for 1 night I expected it to be better than the normal b and b. We stayed for 1 night. When booking, the owner was very helpful and lovely to deal with. On the day of arrival, I received a call from the... More

I'm sorry you found your stay disappointing. We do usually have a minimum 2 night stay weekends for around $290 for 2 nights which is reasonable for the area. We accommodated you for one night at a slightly higher rate but lost out on a 2 night booking. You would be unable to rent out a house or cottage in... More

In this world of greed and money hungry tourist operators it was an absolute utter and complete delight to come to know Elaine and Ted at Whale Beach Bed and Breakfast. You could not have found, had you searched Australia, two kinder, more generous, helpful, lovely people. They just made our stay. It is so relaxed, comforting, friendly, enjoyable and... More

I found Whale Beach B&B via a 'discounted' online coupon, once I had bought the coupon I looked on their website to find that it was the standard price for 'off' season. I rang to book and the woman who I assumed was the owner whinged about the coupons, that they were busy and the breakfast was not cooked but... More

I'm really sorry you didn't feel you got value at Whale Beach Bed and Breakfast. Most guests leave very happy and realise it is affordable for such a location. Property prices are very high this close to Palm, Whale and Avalon Beach and still only 1 hour from Sydney. I feel $90 a night is incredibly good value for a... More

We were looking for a place to stay around the beaches of Sydney on our holiday, and we found this Whale Beach B&B. I think that the price is cheeper than other places around, so it was very kind for us. Whale Beach B&B is like a normal house. First you enter the house there is a kitchen and living-dining... More

Thank you for your review and pleased you enjoyed your stay! We usually ask guests if they would like their towels changed but if staying less than 3 days they often keep the same towels to be environmentally friendly. We will willingly change towels! We loved having you stay with us and your watch is on its way! More

We were lucky enough to find this small B&B tucked away in a quiet street in Avalon just 1 hour North of Sydney. We would thoroughly recommend it as a great place to stay in a most beautiful location. We enjoyed the bike ride to Palm Beach via Whale Beach, hilly but breathtaking! The B&B has a lovely beachy feel... More

We stayed at the Whale Beach B&B and had a wonderful time. The hosts, Ted and Elaine, were friendly and very helpful. Each room had it's own ensuite toilet/shower facilities - which is a bonus! There was also a common area for the guests with a walk out to a lovely terrace/deck where you can enjoy an early morning coffee... More
