The Staff at the Funk House are entertaining :) The room sizes are great at only 3 or 4 per room. Theres always stuff going on in the evenings. Central location, close to the train station. Would recommend this hostel.

Great staff. lots of fun things to do. Rooms are very small, and no bigger than a prison cell. If you have room mates that are out partying, then you will get little sleep. Showers are a bit basic, and the rooms need a steam clean, a few days at most is perfect.

So i stayed here for a week and loved it. Its right by all the nightlife in kings cross, reception staff are really helpful, 28 bucks a night which i feel is good value. Kitchen and bathrooms are not the most modern i have seen but do the job. Would definitely stay here again if i come back to Sydney.
