Main entrance on ground level has no lock! I had to call police twice during my few weeks stay; Female room I paid for was accessed by a male at 10.30pm one night & due to a brawl happened at 1am on another night! I Was told by management to leave when reporting maintenance issues such as hole on wall in shower, abrupt cut of all water supply one morning without sufficient notification to patrons, Duty Managers play games on patron's reportings & not being given fair & respectful treatment regarding cleanliness of linens provided possibly due to discrimination !!!

I had booked a "deLuxe" room with 4 beds for 3 nights. But we had to flee to another hotel as the room was filthy and disgusting, with crawling cockroaches and other bugs everywhere. Didn"t stay for a single night, no refund. The premices was worn down, in the parking lot it was very difficult to find a spot big enough for our car.

The worst hostel I’ve ever seen. My boyfriend and I were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but the room was the most horrible and dirty dorm I’ve seen. There was dirt everywhere, the fridge was full with old food from people how had lived there before. The sheets were dirty and not change. We choose to leave and not stay. The smell was so bad and the kitchen on the rooftop was so messy, food and pots everywhere. Birds in the kitchen, people smoking all around the area, parking was just a joke. We did talk to the manager and he insisted that the room was supposed to look like that. He could answer any questions and we didn’t get a refund. Don’t book here if you want a nice stay. Bad and ignorant staff, dirty rooms.

We arrived after farm work feeling blue about leaving behind so many friends. After 5 minutes the hostel manager (Josh) had sorted us a quite simply delightful quad room with em suite, TV, free Wi-Fi and comfy beds. Needless to say we forgot all about our old friends. The rooftop has views beyond belief of the Sydney skyline and Sydney harbour bridge. Picturesque doesn't begin to describe it. Lots of BBQ and cooking facilities on the top deck. Perfect for that mid morning beer you know deep down your probably shouldn't be having. Quiet in your own rooms as lots of people work. Work also all over the boards by reception. So lots of opportunities to start work. Stay here!!!

Excellent place to stay! Couldn't ask for more from the rooms, own TV, fridge/freezer, air con and en suite. Combined with the Sunday BBQs (hosted by amazing manager Josh) and the city views (arguably best skyline view of Sydney). Short or long term great place to stay!! Highly recommend! Ideal for a group of friends.

I came in with low hopes because of the rather cheap price and average reviews. The guy in reception was nice and I got all the info I needed. I got to my room and it was very dirty. I could not walk on the floor without thongs or my feet would be covered in hair, dirt and crumbs. The bathroom was also very dirty, sink clean though. I still thought it was fine because of the price. When I got home that night I switched the lights on, and hundreds of cockroaches crawled back into all the crevasses. It was disgusting. During night I had several in my bed, crawling on my body. Luckily I am used to the 5 cm cockroaches up in QLD, and these are much smaller, but still gross. Also I payed $24/night, in both Brisbane and Melbourne I’ve payed $19 and gotten a so much higher standard. Would definitely NOT recommend.
