Grabbed a room at the last minute with a sale site. The room was new, clean, and very well set out. Great location to explore the city, with lightrail travelling underneath. Expected a little more information either from the check in desk or inroom about what was what. Got lost several times in complex due to poor signage, but staff... More

My friend booked a two bedroom apartment for my Hen's night at the Astral Residences. The hotel has pretty poor service. The staff at the desk are not very helpful. Example: No one chose to tell us about which lift to take to our room, we accidentally went up the lifts to the Astral Towers. No one really explained the... More

I booked this as a mystery hotel, and wasn't disappointed. The place is HUGE, and it buzzes all day with it being a casino, even to get to the restaurant you have to go past gaming tables and slot machines. The buffet breakfast was included, and was brilliant, the choice was fabulous, food to tickle all tastebuds. The evening buffet... More

I stayed in the three bedroom apartment and I loved it. It was spacious and clean and the view was great. The kitchen was perfect for cooking while on vacation and had enough dishes and tools to entertain my HUGE Filipino family who were all in Sydney as well. I also liked the large living room and dining room area... More

We are actually still at the hotel and checking out this morning but are so frustrated with the noise from building work that I wanted to write this review while still motivated to do so. The location is great and the rooms are a good size and well furnished. Room cleaning is average at best - paper that had dropped... More

By far the worst and most expensive wi-fi access of any hotel I've ever stayed at in several countries. What is it with Australian hotels that they charge for what is usually provided free and works well in most other countries? In this era, it's the equivalent of going back to coin-in-the-slot electricity meters. More

Stayed in their one bed apartment for the week on a business trip. No signage outside for taxi driver to locate the hotel. It's basically part of the star city, the darling hotel, entrance and shared lobby. Check in queues were slow at 11am and painful after long flight in. Room was not ready but I was called once it... For its central location and nearby to traffic, the apartment was very quiet and far removed from noise. The decor was fine and it was clean...very important. Housekeeping staff were courteous and efficient , working around us with no fuss at all. Great. Needless to ay, the view over the bay to the Harbour Bridge is awesome and sitting on... More

Our family spent two nights in a two bedroom apartment in the Astral Residences and it was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living areas conducive to relaxation for our two teens and us. Some discerning guests might notice the sofwallowed a bit worn, but it was ok for us. We also had laundry facilities which helped... More

Hello maryags, We're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here and that the location was convenient for you. Apologies that no water view apartments were available during your stay but we're glad that your were still happy with a Pyrmont view. May I suggest that you give plenty of notice for your next visit so that a water view... More
