Myself and a friend stayed here in January 2010 overnight in between flights. We chose a local B&B thinking we would support local businesses as opposed to a large hotel chain. “Old Rectory B&B-functional but basic”

Stayed four nights at the beginning of May on a trip around New Zealand and Australia. Found the owners very nice and accommodating and the property okay. The "free airport pickup" cost me $18. because nobody was available to provide the ride from the airport which I was promised. I stayed at the Old Rectory for one night on my way to New Zealand. April 6th/7th The place is nice but too noisy due to the Princess Hway just at the corner... Room was simple but clean and the ensuite shower a little tired on the edges but functional. The not-so-good part was breakfast.....As I woke up early on... More
