I stayed one night at the Arosa Motel in Coffs Harbour on 26th April 2012 after a long motorcycle ride from Canberra. I arrived at nightfall and paid AUD $60.00 for a ground level room (#3) close to reception. The room itself had two single beds, a flat screen TV, coffee/tea making facilities (no toaster though), and a clean bathroom.... More

We stopped in for one night on our way to QLD. The room was filthy, mould even on the lamps. The small room was absolutely filthy, even cups dirty! Pool closed for maintenance! I do not recommend this place even for just one night! Yuk!! More

We only stay now at the Arosa, it's very clean, friendly, VERY comfy beds, this is our 2nd stay here this Easter weekend, 7/4/12. Our 1st stay was January 2012 on our way home from Sydney to Ballina Only cost $140 for 2 sleep nights. Maybe a bit of traffic noise from H'way, but when your so tired, it don't... More

We pulled into this motel because we were exausted from driving back to QLD from Sydney. We were charged $75.00 by the manager that looked like the freak from Faulty Towers (but this guy wasn't acting) for one night which we thought was reasonable, until we got into the room! The microwave was filthy, the lights were full of dead... More

This is the most disgusting, filthy firetrap we have ever stayed at. We booked via Quickbeds and was charged $140 for a room with a double and a couple of single bed - What a bloody rip-off!. Seeing the room was absolutely a disappointment. I have never stayed anywhere so filthy and dangeous before. The level of service was so... More

We paid $95 online for a supposed queen room, on arrival saw the same advertised outside at $65. We queried this and were given a cock and bull story about that rate being for a room for four people, despite the board clearly stating otherwise. Bad start. It only got worse. The room looked as though it existed in a... More

We booked this place online. NEVER AGAIN!!! What a joke, we payed $115 for a matchboxed sized room, a room that i suspect had been built to accommodate one double only, yet had another single bed wedged between the closet and the wall to make the room a "tripple". Our booking stated we were travelling with one toddler and an... More

We regularly travel the Cairns to Sydney route a number of times a year and to save on ever increasing travel costs we try and pick accommodation that is comfortable and value for money. Never plan a trip when the school holidays are in full swing as prices are at least 50% higher and availability limited. Coffs harbour is an... More

I dropped in with no reservation - the hotel parking lot was empty. That should have told me something, but it was a rainy night and I just wanted to get in out of the cold. The hotel was $60 Australian, but I was told I could get a nice upgraded room for $30 more, and I decided to splurge.... More

I had to be in Coffs Harbour at short notice for a funeral. I selected this motel basically on price & it's location (south of the city, on the highway) After collecting the car from the airport I arrived at the Arosa wondering if I hadn't somehow entered another time dimension. I wasn't expecting too much & I wasn't disappointed!... More
