From the moment i even enquired about a reservation I was greeted by an incredibly helpful staff member of the resort. Although we were mearly booking a cheap powered site for our tent for 3 nights totally $74 ( you would assume this would mean a lack of effort in making out stay memorable ) it was the exact opposite.... The purpose of our stay was for a wedding, and it provided a beautiful setting for the occasion, and a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. We chose the lake-front cabin, and found them clean, well equipped and comfortable, especially for nature park standards. The variety of accommodation options makes it very well suited to larger group gatherings. More

The lake is beautiful. Beautiful birds sing. Children laugh. Adults smile. Visitors greet one another, And the staff is TERRIFIC! Our cabins (there have been three) were comfortable and clean. Whenever there was a little problem (as in a light bulb out), it was fixed asap with a smile. The manager is hard working and eager to make this a... More

If you are looking for a relaxing time this place sure has it but before you book make sure you ask if there is a wedding service or reception on. You can forget about the quiet time !!!!!! It is hard to rate because we had one nice relaxing night and the next no sleep and in the morning some... More

Just back from an Easter break and stayed with the family at Myall Shores. This is the real experience on Myall lakes, but with still a few accessible luxuries. We stayed in one of the villas. Very nicely done, everything clean and most importantly in working order. Despite it being Easter and the place pretty much full it was still... More

We hired 3 adjoining waterfront camping spots for approximately 14 adults and 7 children (aged 1-5). Thankfully our spots had direct access to the lake meaning the kids could play in the water anytime under supervision. There was enough space in each site for 9 man tents and the powered ports were right next to us. The bathrooms are very... More

Just back from a very relaxing weekend, celebrating my birthday with hubby and our 2 girls age 9 and 10. The cabin, was basic, but clean (we weren't in it very much anyway). I would recommend the restaurant. We ate there both nights, and very impressed with the quality and service. We hired the kayaks and had a dip in... More

We stayed in a lakeside villa, just a few metres from the lake shore. Lovely clean facilities and surroundings, friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of resident wildlife including goannas, kangaroos, brush turkeys and koalas. Great spot for romantic getaways, as well as holidays with families or friends. Didn't catch any fish but enjoyed the peace and quiet while trying. More

We came camping at Myall Shores Nature Resort for my husband's 40th. We were 11 adults and 11 children aged 1.5 to 7 years old. We stayed on a camp site right next to the lake. The toilet facilities were great. We ate breakfast and had a birthday dinner celebration at the restaurant which was also good fun. The manager... More

All the good reviews below have covered almost everything I have to say. I will add a few more points to it: + The cafe/bar on site is a real nice one. The hot breakfast that they serve, if you opt for one, is ample and can be your brunch. Otherwise, the normal continental breakfast which was included in the... More
