We've stayed at the Motel Monaro on a number of occasions and find it a particularly refreshing experience every time.Staff retention is very noticeable with most being longtime employees whose friendliness & attention to detail reflect contentment not often encountered in most workplaces. The family room we were accommodated in at short notice sleeps 4 and would be great for a family of 4 out and about the town. Beds comfortable, bathroom well appointed. Crockery and cutlery available to aid civilised snack consumption, toasting and microwaving. Great staff who know how to offer hospitality without overwhelming!

Stayed 1 night for the cricket. Room was clean. Bathroom a little cramped but not a huge problem. Room was well appointed everything worked and was quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely would come back here to stay if I was to come back to Canberra.
