I would just like to share my recent experience with the managers of this park. I made a booking for a powered campsite 2 days ago only to find out today that our car needed new brakes hence we were very reluctant to make the trip with our 5 year old. I immediately rang Snug Beach Caravan Park to cancel... More

After a very long night driving we entered the snug caravan park quite late. we decided to just pull in and sort out payment in the morning to avoid waking people up. The next morning we caught up with the man in charge to pay for our stay only to be abused for arriving late. We were told they don't... More

We arrived a little later than expected as I had been unwell on the journey. The staff were very friendly and showed genuine concern about my health.Spotless amenities and the closeness to the water is an added bonus to this friendly little park. We booked in advance which I think is recommended at this time of the year, and were... More

While travelling around Tas, with my mum, we phoned on a week day morning to book accommodation for that night at Snug. At lunch time, on that day I realised I hadnt asked for twin share, so rang to make sure this was available. Apologised for my lack of info in morning and received quite an abrupt reply. On check... We stayed overnight before proceeding on to Bruny Island the following day. This is by far the CLEANEST cabin park I have ever been to in my life. Even the shared toilets are so clean! Cabin is quite huge, kitchen facilities, warm heater, quiet surroundings, good laundry facilities, etc, more than I had expected. I was fortunate to live next... More

We had an excellent cabin for two nights and it was very convenient for ferry to Bruny Island. It was quiet and clean and roomy for two people. The heating was good and everything we needed we found in the cabin. More

Why would you pay to stay anywhere else? We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. It was extremely well appointed , clean and in good condition. There is plenty of room for large families. Right on the water. Snug is a gorgeous little town along the water ways, a great place to explore the Huon Channel and Bruny Island from.... More

When attending an engagement party in the mighty metropolis that is Snug, we decided that rather than either drive and stay off the the drinks, or pay a small fortune for a cab ride home we'd find some local accommodation. We opted for a cabin at the local Cabin & Caravan Park. For $85 (about the same or less than... More

The town of Snug was recommended to us by a lady we were talking to on the Gordon River Cruise. It's about 20 mins out of Hobart on the Huon Trail. What a beautiful area of Tasmania this is. We were certainly glad we took her advice and drove on that bit extra deciding on Snug Beach Cabin and Caravan... More
