We used to visit this pub on a regular basis when it was privately run as a Free House. We were very disappointed with it now it is run by a chain. The service is friendly but very robotic as if the staff are reading from a script. In place of hearty pub food a limited menu of pretentious offerings.... More

Very friendly staff that made us feel very welcome and were great with my 2 year old nephew. Beautiful rooms and lovely warm pub with tasty food and relaxing friendly environment. Easy and plentiful parking. I would stay here again. On the edge of the new forest and only a few minutes drive from stunning scenery.
