I chose this hotel as I specifically wanted to visit the Bellerive Cricket Ground during a short stay in Hobart. The oval was only a half hour walk, and when I had finished there, I walked another half hour over to the adjoining suburb of Rosny Park where there were cinemas, food services and a shopping centre among other things....

First experience in a motel was a pleasent surprise at Shoreline. The rooms are of a nice size and the furniture in good condition. The food at the restaurant was also commendable with a nice salad buffet. Definitely the best motel of the three we stayed during our self-drive of Tasmania.

This is a very basic hotel. We had an early flight out of Tasmania and I chose it because it is close to the airport. Also since it was so early, there was no point in paying for great surroundings and a breakfast we could not stay to enjoy.
