I cannot speak highly enough of Hay House Farm. We’ve stayed twice now and will be back! They are very dog friendly – the only place I’ve found that seems to genuinely love and cater for people and their dogs. They are really interested in nutrition, and are happy to share this knowledge and provide samples of their own dog... More

We have just returned from what I can only describe as one of the most pleasant weekends away we have ever had. Hay house feels like home from home , but with the bonus of being looked after ! Our dog was welcome, looked after and had the best time too. We can't wait to go back The rooms were... More

We booked hay house farm with friends and our dogs for 2 nights B&B. We had several communications with Debbie prior to our stay leading us to think that she was looking forward to meeting us all and would make us very welcome! She also promised a buffet on the first evening of home made delights! In reality the morning... More

Thank you for your review of Hay House Farm. Your attempted slurr on our business goes to reiterate the nature of person you clearly are. I could go into realms about the smoking of your Members in a non-smoking establishment and all hours drinking of your party, carrying your pugs around in slings and pushing them in push chairs, rather... We were determined to get to Ipstones for my birthday weekend - even with the forecast of heavy snow!! We were kept very well informed of the weather / travel by Adrian, but we made it and it was very well worth the effort! The house is lovely, the welcome was warm and the breakfast was great, and (of course)... More

If you are looking to get away from it all, retreat to the countryside to a place where your dog is welcome and your accommodation is top class, then Hay House Farm is the place for you. Debbie and Adrian's 16th century farm house is situated up a long drive, away from the road. It has been tastefully decorated inside,... More

We were nervous bringing our two dogs to a B&B where we knew they would meet other dogs, but had no reason to worry. We had a lovely welcome from the owners Debbie and Adrian and from the start it was clear that this is a really dog friendly place to stay, not merely a place that allows dogs. We... More

We had a wonderful stay at Hay House Farm in the Staffordshire Peak District. We took Henry, Our Great Dane, as H.H.Farm is advertised as 'Dog Friendly', and it certainly was!! Henry was given treats, a dog bed, a towel for drying off after a wet walkies, and lots of fuss and attention! We were looked after just as well,... More

Claire and I together with Mollie and Lucy spent a fabulous couple of nights at Hay House Farm. Worth every penny, our reception set the tone for a much needed break, couldn't have been friendlier. This considering we only booked the night before and were bringing a 16 week old puppy with us (Lucy - aka she who pees on... More

Have just returned from a relaxing and enjoyable 3 night stay at Hay House Farm. We stayed in the Hayloft as we had our 2 dogs Harvey (Labrador) & Tess (Weimaraner) so needed a bit of space. The bedroom and bathroom were both lovely, a super comfy bed and a huge bath to soak in. There were welcome packs for... More

We had a night in the Victorian Room with out two Labradors and were very impressed. The dogs were given beds, blankets, treats, towels and blankets. On seeing us towelling them outside the car, very muddy on arrival after a lovely walk to the canal suggested by Adrian, Debbie even brought more towels out for them. Adrian and Debbie were... More
