Apart from the stunning scenery, beautiful beaches, great company, fantastic food including creme brulee & chocolate mousse cake for dessert! & banubanu bread, the swimming was the best. I stayed at Banubanu for 4 days and it was nothing but bliss! I LOVED walking along the beach without another person in sight! The sand was white and the ocean was clear blue! It was amazing! Trevor & Helen were extremely accommodating to our needs! The fresh fish caught with Trevor and prepared magnificently by Helen just made it... More

From the moment Trevor picked us up in Nhulunbuy we felt at ease and the relaxation started to seep in. Banubanu wilderness retreat is probably the most relaxing place I have every visited. No demanding mobile phones or emails, nothing to do but relax, walk, swim, read, fish, sleep and eat....the food is delicious by the way, all freshly cooked... More
