This hotel is so nice for the price. Really nice, large rooms, great pool and grounds, nice breakfast, friendly. Definitely loved the location just 8 minutes from Panzano, IMHO the best of the Chianti towns. Loved our stay. More

We spent one week early october - thanks god we had sunshine! To stay in such a small, dark room with only one small window for more than the night would have been impossible! Cleanness has to be learned in this beautiful hotel - that´s true for the room as well as for the bathroom! The restaurant is overpriced! A... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Campomaggio. The location of the Villa allowed us to see all that we wanted in the area. The staff was friendly, particularly the English/Italian gentleman, the room upgrade was gracious and much appreciated, the spa was lovely, and pool clean. We especially loved the fact that we could hike/walk directly from the Villa.... More

Yes, the views are beautiful- but where aren't they in Tuscany? Where to start... the staff were excellent, when you could find them. The spa and the pool (which is NOT heated for those cool Tuscan evenings) was too cold during the day to utilize. The restaurant was adequate, though overpriced, and the waiter dedicated, but the room too impersonal... More

The architects did an amazing job redesigning this old borgo close to Radda in Chianti. The hotel is away from the county road, you will have to ride through a car path to reach destination. Landscaping is very nice, there is a beautiful view on the vineyards. Rooms are spacious and conformable. Spa, swimming pool..., a great destination to relax.... More

We just returned from our three day stay. First off let me say the place looks beautiful and is in a gorgeous setting but that's where the good stuff ends. There have been many reviews which comment on the absence of staff. Let me echo this sentiment; there are NO staff! Apparently there is no manager as well; just an... More

Dear Guest, I sincerely regret the disruption you experienced during you stay. I'm sorry we have caused you such “distress”, and sincerely hope you understand that this was not our intention. When you informed us that you had "forgotten” your clothes, there was the misunderstanding as we were looking for a suitcase, when we reaslised they were singular pieces we... More

My husband and I stayed here while on our honeymoon. The property is beautiful, clean and well-maintained however service is lacking. They don't have room service or anyone to help with bags, breakfast though delicious was not replenished often enough so I would often come across a soggy plate of cheese or remints of fruit, and during our four- day... Dear Sir, We thank you for bringing these points to our attention as we need feedback to improve our service. As we are a relatively new hotel, we are still working on the details. In response to your remarks, I would like say the following ; 1) regarding your title ; you don't tend to find 5 star services in... More

We (2 Australian couples) stayed at Villa Campomaggio in May for 3 nights. Arriving at the same time as a tourist bus was a bad omen. The few staff members (NOT the owners who did nothing) we came across were most helpful, but run off their feet. One poor waitress had to look after the bar AND about 40 diners... More

If you like to carry your own bags, this is the place for you. If you like a room that smells like mold, this is the place. If you don't like room service on your vacation, this is the place for you. We stayed for two nights and house keeping never showed up. We were disappointed. Chianti is a wonderful... More
