We've just returned from a week's all inclusive stay at the Mellieha Bay Hotel. The hotel was advertised as 4star. It's not. It can probably be best described as a Premier Inn with a swimming pool. It's a typical 1970s block hotel. It does look as though it's been renovated recently and has fairly modern interiors but it's little things... More

just returned from 1 week at mellieha bay, i never understand why some people are never satisfied and seem to want to moan about everything! The hotel was built in 1969 and whilst the outside paintwork (in places) might need a lick of paint it was a lovely hotel. The room was modern and contemporary, all balconies have a fabulous... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here last week and have to say we had a brilliant time. The location although not ideal as its quite a long walk to any shops offers some wonderful views of the sea from all rooms. Our room was very clean and tidy and we were pleasantly surprised at the standard of cleaning was very good. The food... Just returned from a week at Mellieha Bay Hotel and was very dissapointed, would not class it as a 4 star Hotel. The food wasn't up to much with very poor choices. The room was nice with stunning views but the beds and pillows were so hard found it very difficult to go to sleep. Most of the staff were sullen and not very... Well what a week it's been! Just returned from a week at Mellieha Bay Hotel, thoroughly enjoyed it. Was much better than expected after reading reviews, all I can say is some folk can't be suited and seem to moan about anything! one of the cheapest prices I have paid for a hol and turned out suprisingly to be one... Been to lots of 4 star hotels and sorry but this is not up to the mark. The food choice and quality are NOT what we expect in a 4*. The room was nice and the view excellent. Bathroom ropey. The beds were sooooo hard that it took ages to go to sleep. Some of the staff friendly but others... More

We had a lovely family holiday at this hotel, we as grandparents, our daughters and grandchild but were disappointed with the facilities for children. The park was closed off because it was in desperate need of repair. Out of 7 nights of 'entertainment' only one was directed at the children for the first hour and I thought that perhaps every... This hotel is in a very remote location and is most definitely NOT suitable for anyone with mobility problems. There are staircases and steps everywhere and the pool area can only reached by negotiating five sets of steps. The food is average but the ''chefs'' who operated the carvery were not really capable and their efforts really amounted to hacking the... More
