This hotel is very nice. I loved the little alcove in my room and it looked right out onto Flam and the scenery. The hotel is right by the railway and and there are lots of little shops handy for souvenirs.

Why do hotels offer top floors, bay windows and then don't give you the best view? Using temporary staff results in less than optimum service or a big ignore in the bar. Great setting but rooms can be better.

Great location and wonderful views of the fjord. The hotel has a very welcoming lawn with chairs. The lobby is cozy and comfortable with the fireplace. The rooms were great with good views. We stayed here for two nights in June. Great room--large and comfortable.Excellent bed. Wonderful food--buffet style with lots of choices. We would stay here again should we return to Flåm. Only problem was no WIFI in the room. We needed to go to a special spot in the lobby to get on the Internet and check our email.
