Having been an ardent wildlife follower and having been to Kanha 8 times I was initially apprehensive about going to a new forest. But I must say Satpura and especially Forsyth exceeded expectations. Hashim has created a fantastic lodge and the naturalists Rishi, David and Varun are the BEST I have come across by miles. Sincere thanks to the team... More

Pioneering Satpura National Park is done in an excellent way by the staff of Forsyth Lodge. Whether you go traditionally by jeep or by elephant, in a different way by canoe or completely out of the box, walking in tigerterritory, they are as enthousiastic as you are about the experience. On the search for leopard, wild dogs, slothbear, the amazing... More

Forsyth Lodge is a wildlife resort very near the entrance to the Satpura Tiger Resort in Madhya Pradesh, India. While the resort has very well equipped rooms, it has a fine team of people making life enjoyable during the stay there. The manager, and the cook surprised us. Importantly, a couple of excellent naturalists make your jungle trips worth your... More

Tiger Tops in Nepal was long regarded as the gold standard for jungle lodges in the Indian subcontinent till political troubles took over the country. When former team members at Tiger Tops set up a lodge themselves, you can certainly expect some of the shine to show there too. It does so at Forsyth’s, but it goes beyond being a... More

I had not visited India so late in the year before, but found the temperature wonderful and the wild life viewing was not impaired in any way. We were rewarded with several excellent sightings - all enjoyed quietly with no frantic driving through the undergrowth. Varun and David are excellent guides, they know a great deal about the creatures of... More

I and my wife are wildlife enthusiasts and rightly chose Forysth for our Satpura trip. The excellence was evident from the time we were received by a well maintained vehicle at Bhopal Airport and reached the lodge after a comfortable 4 hours through a interesting landscape comprising some very crowded towns and beautiful green patches. We were warmly received by... More

My recent stay at Forsyth was my third visit. Each time one is greeted with the same enthusiasm and expertise and each visit exposes a wealth of wildlife sightings both in the park and at the Lodge. We logged over 150 species of birds, saw sloth bear, gaur, wild dog, spotted deer, sambar, wild boar, giant squirrels, tiger and so... More
