When we went to check in the man was rude and very unwelcoming, we thought maybe he was having a bad day but his mood didn't improve throughout our week long stay, the hotel had a very cold feeling to it. The service in general was poor, apart from the older gent who helped us with our bags and the... More

This is our second visit here , we previously stayed here last August . Like a lot of people it is quite easy to compare a hotel to a previous visit and we probably did the same. As before the hotel rooms, restaurants, bars and pool area are spotless. Staff on the whole very friendly. Food at breakfast and dinner was... More

First impressions were fantastic - lobby very tasteful - bedrooms were very comfortable but one chair on balcony? !!!! Requested room on lower floor when booking as do not like heights. Was assured that my 9th floor room would be changed after the first night - the offer was a 'dungeon' of a room on first floor over the garage... More

Stayed here for a long weekend. It's not 5 star.Would say it's 4 star.Breakfast buffet is good and staff at breakfast were friendly. Not enough sun loungers at pool and they are "reserved" from early morning. Why do people do this? The bar is a ripoff,as is room service.4.50 euro for a large bottle of mineral water ordered from room service due to a... We were offered a very reasonable 25 euro per day upgrade and were rewarded with an uninterrupted sea view from a very quiet 8th floor junior suite. Glass walls in the bathroom gave no privacy when the blind was up but easily solved. We stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast basis and the food was all self service. As... More

Stayed in this hotel (for first time) in early May,half board basis. Very impressive interior, bedrooms and bathrooms spacious and spotless. Staff very professional and friendly (reception, bar, dining room and bedroom). Food varied and good (absolutely fantastic desserts, especially those involving chocolate). Only small problem is breakfast orange juice (tastes like watered down cordial),but vast array of fresh fruit... More

We arrived here on Thursday, so I am sitting on my balcony at the time of writing, waiting for the football to start. Lets start with the good. Good hotel, nice large rooms (although didnt get our upgrade as was indicated at time of booking), great location (5 mins from harbour, and 7 mins from town centre) but nice and... More

Just returned from our 6th stay at this hotel, and after the last trip we said we would give it one more chance. We won't be returning as everytime it has deteriorated. The hotel location is great, and it is a pleasant enough hotel but the levels of service leave a lot to be desired. The bar staff are surly... More

I was slightly apprehensive about my stay after reading some of the reviews. Check in was faultless. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade to a sea facing Junior Suite which we accepted at 30 Euros extra per night. The room was spacious, extremely clean, with very nice furniture and a great walk in marble shower. We had both... More
