The location was peacefull, but people banging their room doors at 3AM was a little distracting, but this only happened a couple of nights in 14. Good internet was very expensive, these days I expect it for free in 'not cheap' hotels. Room a little dated, old 17" CRT TV for example, but plenty of hot water when I needed... More

The place was amazing...until you get to your room. Dated, worn, and we were at the back of the hotel directly over the delivery area and trash pick up. Forget sleeping in the early morning!!! Very noisy back there. The location is great as there is a train station close by that you can get on to go into Amsterdam.... More

We chose the castle as our wedding venue and also booked accommodation for the wedding weekend. Some guests were coming from overseas and we booked a total of 10 rooms. On the wedding night, we stayed at the complimentary bridal suite, which was gorgeous. It had a beautifully carved canopy bed perched on an elevated floor, but the bathroom was... More

Lovely situation - in woods - and a charming building. Relaxing environment with fire in the bar. Restaurant really expensive - I ate in the bistro which was still expensive but good quality. I really liked the imaginitive breakfast. My problem was that the rooms echo and doors closing reverberate around the building. This was made worse by the fact... More

All in all, a venture not worthy of the Bilderberg label. I stay in this hotel chain more often and this was very, very disappointing. Positives: -Restaurant (good quality food and wines), staff friendliness. -Very beautiful, authentic building, situated close by forests. -Plenty parking available. -Very quiet venture, silence during nights. Negatives: -Rooms are grossly outdated, unheated (cold!) bathrooms, interior... More

We stayed at 't Kerckebosch for 2 nights and it was great! We stayed in a deluxe room. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and had everything you need. The first night we had dinner at "De Kamer van Lintelo" and the second night we had dinner at "Bistro De Saffraan". It was sublime both... More

Fabulous building, overlooked by a new appartment block. Baroque basics spoilt by fussy decoration. Going for a Michelin star is one thing, but when all you want is a simple soup for lunch being served two teaspoons lost in a giant plate doesn't work. Room badly designed with tv cabinet locking horns with bathroom door. Very expensive internet and coffee... More

I stayed in this hotel for only one night. The hotel's atmosphere is very authentic. Room quality OK, nothing extraordinary but all that needs to be there was there. Great sleeping, because the location is so quiet. I would come back to this hotel even if it was only for the breakfast. Part of it was in buffet style, but... More

I stayed here for two nights for a business meeting. What a beautiful, restful place. It's a small hotel built in a castle or chateau. Beautiful big rooms, spotless, old but charming setting. It's 5 minutes cab ride from Zeist Station. Excellent breakfast included with a chef making eggs to order. I wish American hotels would provide such a repast... More

We were in the Netherlands for a long weekend and decided to stay in Zeist (about 15 minutes away from Utrecht centre and 30 minutes away from Amsterdam) en route to Friesland. The castle itself is very pretty, but the area where the rooms are (not the castle) is quite plain. When we saw the hotel, my husband said: "that... More
