We stayed in hotel Van der Valk one night - arriving late and leaving after breakfast. For this purpose, the hotel is ideal. Breakfast is quite good with excellent choice of different products. I stayed here for a business meetings for 2 (two) days. Dinner at restaurant was very satisfactory: tasty (local food) and good service. Unfortunately that was the highest point of my stay . I travelled with my husband and 15 months old baby. The room smelled of urine, there were choclotae wrappers of the floor (obviously not ours), there was dust on the curtains, cobwebs across the electrical socket in the corner (obviously, not cleaned for a while...) and nail clippings (not ours!) on the carpet where my little baby was supposed to... Hotel was quite easy to find and free parking a bonus. Rooms were nice and staff helpful. Had tea/coffe making facilities and spacious bathroom. Will certainly go back. More

We were looking for an inexpensive, yet comfortable hotel near Wassenaar and this is exactly what we found. Room was ok, bed reasonable, if a bit soft to our taste.
