We parked for free right at the front door. The rooms are clean and functional with a good shower. The soundproofing is not great but lack of sleep had more to do with the very small single bed. Breakfast is fine but why bottled juice? Good value for money and very close to all the Roman sites. Staff were very... More

Great location and that's about it. 5 minutes walk from the main Roman ruins. The rooms are very small and the plumbing is smelly. Breakfast on the mean side, parking is grim and it's over priced. Pleasant and helpful receptionist but argued with us about our booking and it wss a good job we had the Booking.com printout.

The rooms were very clean and tidy. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the railway station and all the historic sights. Unfortunately there was a terrible smell of air freshener, it was totally overwhelming in our room. We also had no heating during the night and absolutely froze.

Functional clean room. A little on the small side. Friendly staff. They do not give enough soap and no shampoo. Location excellent-very close to all attractions. On street free parking outside the hotel but the spots do fill up. A fine hotel and it did the job. Excellent value for money. wifi was fine. Heating system was a problem. Fine... More

The positives first - this hotel is in an excellent location in fact it would be hard to beat. It is literally at the centre of almost everthing of importance in This incredible town. The room was clean but smelt heavily of odoriser (what were they trying to cover up). Now for the negatives - its significantly over priced for... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in autumn of 2008, and were very satified with the Rambla Emerita. The location is is just outside of the city center but within walking distance of the major sights. The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and we had a window looking down on the "rambla" and the... More

The Good: Big room, quite nice, and cheap - 55e/night for twin single use incl breakfast. Breakfast was coffee, OJ, and a bit of toasted bread with choice of spread. Staff were helpful enough. The Bad: 2 things - the shower and the wi-fi. Wi-fi is not free, it is oursourced to a company "Aki Wifi/AWA hotspot". 6e for 2.5... More

I really liked our stay in Rambla Emerita Hotel. Very good location (near everything that matters, overlooking a small park), although difficult to park the car. Huge rooms, nice staff, good breakfast. I can only say good things about it. It was a good surprise.

Good convenient location in Merida: rail station, Roman sites and National Museum, town centre, shops, bars and restaurants all a short walk. Friendly reception. Rooms on front overlook a pleasant park and square, busy during day/evening (sort of town where everyone seems to know each other). Quiet at night during our stay and double glazing thick enough to keep out... More
