The Hotel Windsor is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Completely shabby all round. Rooms were actually a good size, but the bathroom was ridiculous. A toilet pan that you had to sit sideways on as lack of leg room. A shower cubicle inserted into the bathroom that was hideous. If you were over 6 foot tall your... More

we stayed here as a party of 16 golfers for 4 nights in September 2011 & whilst not spending a great deal of time in the hotel itself , observations are : bedrooms and bathrooms need investment ( we didnt even have a shower curtain !) , breakfasts are basic , no fruit and packet croissants !! ( crazy with... More

2 star was an over rating of this shabby abode. The room was small and attempts had been made to install a bathroom in the same room like some kind of ensuite but without the room to accomodate it. The result was a DIY job with a tiny studded 6 foot shed within the bedroom enclosing a plastic shower so... More

Having checked out of a hotel in Mers Le Bains - we were recommended THE WINDSOR HOTEL in Le Touquet.............we had to take a chance & it was great! Not pretentious, clean, good bedrooms, good breakfast if you want it, very near the beach & two minutes walk to all the best eateries in Le Touquet. I would HIGHLY recommend... More

This hotel is ok-ish for a stopover, but I will be looking elsewhere next time I am in Le Touquet. The Windsor is crying out for refurbishment. More

I stayed in hotel windsor as a part of a school trip. The experience was definatley interesting....firstly a bar and hotel that closes at 8.00pm is a start.....! No dinner service was available only breakfast which was of a good standard. The rooms were small and the bathroom was not big enough for two...the room was clean and the bathroom... More

A weird experience in a building which could be a lovely little hotel of its class. Biggest plus is cleanliness - faultless. Biggest minus is reception, bar & lounge close at 8pm and that is a nice area of the hotel. Have to let yourself in to the hotel after 8pm - bit tricky if you forget or mislay your... More

This hotel has the most miserable manager we've ever come across, he hardly spoke a word to us only to say that we were too early and the room will be ages before it was ready and that the bar only opened for a short space of time and that was it. The room was old and tired and the... More

Arriving in the dark in pouring rain, it was a nightmare to find the hotel. Like a previous reviewer we were on the fourth floor and the rain hits the guttering like marbles rolling around in a tin can! Still, lets turn on the tv to drown out the sound. It doesn't work. Not a problem, let's go have a... More

We stayed at this two star hotel for five days as part of a bargain break with Sea France on our first holiday without the kids in 21 years! We knew it would be basic, but were disappointed to find we had the "bathroom-in-a-cupboard" option (the picture on their website shows a spacious bathroom - which room has that, I... More
