The hotel itself is interesting with rocky walls. Rooms are average, but the restaurant is excellent. The service is always first class, waitress are extremely friendly, great with kids and food is very good. Swimming pool is ok, kids just love it. More

We chose this hotel because it's right next to the zoo. This is in fact the only good thing about the hotel. The rooms were awful, I don't think they've ever been renovated. We took the "superior room" for 135 euros, but it was far from superior. The food (dinner, breakfast) was decent. I would recommend taking some nearby B&B... More

Scandic Mesikämmen is a great spa hotel serving excellent nordic cuisine. You will... More

This hotel was designed by same architects as the world famous Rock Church (also called Temppeliaukio Church) in Helsinki. The hotel was built in 1976 and some years later it got the "Diploma and Silver Hexagon of Habitation Space" award. The hotel is situated by a small lake in very beautiful surroundings. The hotel is built partly in the Finnish... More

Hotel Mesikammen is a friendly and very down-to-earth place for accommodatting visitors to the Zoo (across the road) and nearby trails. Rooms are small, "spa" very basic, restaurant is nothing special, and service is very Finnish (oriented towards self-service more than service). Breakfast is good if you like the traditional Finnish offering of oatmeal, break and cheese, yogurt, coffee and... More
