“Generous Host welcomed 3 out of season guests”

We were booked into this place by a relative with a place in the area & they let us stay even though it was strictly speaking out of season. Despite this they preapred big delicious breakfasts every day. Rooms are basic, in summer months they could do with thicker curtains to keep out the sun. Great views of the lake.... More

“Cheaper alternative outside of Geilo resorts”

When visiting Norway we took a trip to Geilo for 2 nights of skiing and relaxation. After looking at the main resorts in Geilo, we stumbled upon the Lia. It was significantly cheaper ($100 US).
