My room looked nothing like the pictures from the brochure, and it felt like stepping in to a time machine back to the early 90s. The carpet was worn out, it smelled like an old pub and didn't seem very clean, cheap quality bedding and lines, worn towels looking and feeling more like rag. We arrived at midnight and I...

Stopped over here for a quiet night in Sogndal on our way to Lillehammer.
Decent lobby decked out in dark colors. Our room didn't have much of a view but were actually fairly stylish. Among the nicer rooms out here. Dinner and breakfast buffets were ok, bar had the Denmark-Norway soccer game on and was rowdy.
Overall, just ok. Nothing...

Breakfast was great, free wi-fi and parking, friendly staff, delicious food in the a-la carte restaurant (also a Dolly Dimples in the same building). Clean room, mine was pink and modern! Free tea and coffee available all day. Also a hair dresser-& skin care saloon in the hotel.

The room was fine with a comfy bed and good place for my luggage for a long stay.
Very good with serveral...

Rude staff, dirty room, no pressure in the shower.
Breakfast was of poor quality .
Small window that provided no fresh air to the room.
Old and smal bathroom

We decided to stay at the Quality Hotel Sogndal instead of other hotels because it advertised a sauna. It does have saunas for men and women, but they are tiny, plastic, old, and generally pretty gross looking. We also asked for a double bed, but instead got two singles pushed together. The room was decent with a nice view, but...
