This Danhostel is in a beautiful spot directly at the river. Rooms are basic, but mostly with (clean) en suite facilities. Danhostel is what the youth hostels have become in Denmark: Budget family hotels. This is fine since Denmark lack family budget hotels. Danhostel SIlkeborg has a great locaiton nice rooms, a nice kitchen for cooking you own food and good outside activities. Definitely the best hostels i stayed at in DK recently.

Wonderful location, clean rooms, great facilities and friendly staff! They provided us with lots of information about the region and were very friendly, letting us check in late at night, and even giving us free cookies!
