Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel does the job. A layover from a long days travel. It is dated and worn in places but the staff are very friendly and super happy to help. The beds were comfortable and pretty big really with a selection of different pillows. We were pleased to find a decent hotel that accepted dogs too. Which are few and far between. Felt pretty rested actually even with 2 kids and a dog. However we found that there was quite a bit of noise interference from other guests moving about upstairs, and we were disappointed in the selection of breakfast and the Costa (on the same site) was sold out of all breakfast selections too. There was an abundant supply of tea and coffee. If we are travelling this far and in this direction again, then I think we’d stay again. Thanks

We couldn’t have asked for more Evelin was a real super star and couldn’t have done more too the point my 7 year old twin daughters commented what a nice lady she was. You’re lucky to have such a front facing member of Staff who genuinely cares and is genuinely interested in seeing you have an amazing experience at her Travelodge. Thanks again Evelin and hopefully we’ll see you soon as we’ll definitely be back. Lee Melvin

Clean, welcoming, and very handy for our work site on the M6. Lovely staff are helpful; manager Ruth, Katie, Evelina, and Mike in particular have looked after us throughout our stay. We are on first name terms with most of the staff, and they are always happy to top up our supply of towels, toiletries, and tea and coffee.

Stayed at Travelodge Tod hills on our trip to Scotland, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and the rooms were nice and clean and there was a vending machine for snacks. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others on their travels.

We often stay at Travelodge hotels to break our journey on long trips. We find them reliable and consistent with good disabled facilities. The breakfast is good and generally everything is pretty effortless.

Stayed here to break the journey from Devon to the Highlands. Can’t fault it. Dog friendly. Clean. Great value. Prior to arrival I received an email to check all was well, and was able to request a specific room which they helped with.

Stayed a night here on a trip from Argyle to Yorkshire. The room was good, clean with a comfortable bed. En-suite was also clean and perfectly acceptable. There was little noise and I had an excellent night’s sleep. Perfect for breaking the journey and I will use it again. Very well priced and looks like EV chargers will soon available.
