We've been going to the Heights for years now and it is and always has been a great place to stay. OK - it is not 5-star accomodation but it does not claim to be. However it does fulfil many other criteria magnificently and this is why my wife and I return there every year - in fact when I... More

I was hesitant about booking this 'hotel' but unfortunately I was travelling on a bank holiday weekend and there was no where else left. Really wish I hadn't stayed here as it put a real downer on that part of our trip. In summary; the whole place was in need of redecorating (bulldozing!), the rooms looked like they hadn't been... Well what can i say, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we received a quality service from all the staff at the foreland heights. We found that ''Peter'' was very attentive & humorous throughout our stay. he expressed concern about how we enjoyed our stay & was willing to assist on getting us home when there... More

The position of this hotel, high up on the Bloody Foreland with ocean views down the Donegal coast and up the coast to Tory island which are truly magnificent, is one of the best I've ever stayed in. The room was large, freshly decorated, warm and comfortable. The food was good and the bar was a friendly and cheerful place... More

We, 8 german women on a walking tour, stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and had a great time. The location is beautiful - overlooking the sea and the Bloody Foreland. The rooms were clean and had a lot of space, the staff was always friendly and helpful and the meals were more than only good. After our walks... More

The hotel stank of old chip fat. The paint was peeling in the rooms. The hotel was dark and grimy - a horror movie set. The bathroom stank of damp. We put everything we had behind the door and locked ourselves in. DO NOT GO!!! It is the worse hotel ever.. Could only stand one night. We were desperate. Great... More
