This was something we were looking forward to and were not in any respect disappointed. Majella greeted us and was for our two-day stay always available and helpful. We fell in love with not only her home and "set-up" but the family dog Charley. To be clear, Majella did not have her dog around us until we let it be... More

Regretfully in Ballyhooly for a funeral. Could not be more pleased with the kindness and quality of lodging provided by Billy and Majella.

Billly & Majella, We had a wonderful stay in your BnB in Nov 2010. The rooms were big, clean with soft sheets. Billy made a wonderful breakfast for us and our companions. Majella met us the night before and guided us to a pub in town, the burger was delicious. I loved the history of the BnB being an old train... More

Lovely house in a beautiful area, very friendly people, great value for money, good food. What more can you ask for in a B&B? This was the best B&B we stayed in on our trip to Ireland. The building is an imaginatively converted trainhouse, but the owners have succeeded in achieving a cosy, welcoming feel to the place, retaining spacious... More

I originally stayed at the Old Train House because it was out in the country and they had old Minis. My first experience was fantastic and, over the years, I have been back again and again. Billy and Majella are fantastic hosts and the Old Train House is a lovely, quiet place to stay. Breakfast also isn't to be missed.... More

We have enjoyed two stays with Billy and Majella and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else the next time we're in that part of the world. Our visits have been warm and friendly, the rooms very comfortable, and the breakfasts are as good or better than you'll get anywhere. Top marks for a top b'n'b !

We had the pleasure of staying with Majella Mulqueen at the Old Train House B&B. It was quiet and clean...perfect after a long day of sightseeing. It is located close to some of the major attractions in the area including Rock of Cashel and the city of Cork. Recommended to anyone in the area!
