I don't know if there has been big changes recently, but I cannot understand the negative reviews. For the €45 I paid, I cannot fault the place. Room was spacious & spotless. Staff were charming, polite & helpful. Jacuzzi bath was amazing!! If I had cause to come back to Bandon, this would be where I would certainly stay.

They told me this hotel had been renovated after the floods. What a wasted opportunity! The breakfast room is windowless and grim, the bar dark and cheerless and the reception area uninviting. The staff seem to be overworked with one person doing reception, chef, waitress and tidying at breakfast time. We stayed from Thursday to Monday. The person on Friday... More

Stopped in the bar for food one August Sunday evening this year. Once the order for the main course had been taken, there was no service after that. In the middle of eating out meal the bar man came over and turned the main lights off and pulled down the blind so it was very dark. When we tried to... More

Stayed here two nights last week and its a decent no frills place!! Staff were extremely friendly & helpful, rooms clean (and massive with jacuzzi!) and quiet. Think some people on here are really fussy but shud judge it on €80 hotel incl breakfast (which btw was one of the best i've had in a long time! Asked at reception... More

Its not even worth 1 star!!!! I am shocked how bad it was! Firsty there is no parkin which we were not informed about! You have to find your own space on the main road and pay. There is a free car park down the road but its a bit of a walk with luggage and a buggie if you had... More

This hotel is very well located in the centre of Town, rooms are basic but clean, carpets could do with an upgrade. Food was quite nice but the staff in this Hotel do not care about either their job or the customer as guests seem to be not welcome here. I have to say that in my 20 years visiting... More

Spent some time in June with my 14 year old granddaughter. We loved the food especially the lamb shanks. The chef even shared his recipe for making the red wine sauce. Everyone was very kind and nice- I,m planning on returning to this hotel. Pat in Houston,Texas
