I consulted tripadvisor before booking Bunratty Mews and it is so helpful to hear from previous travelers-so I thank you all for the helpful information. My mother and I made this our first stop after landing-and we arrived on the doorstep at 7:30am on a Sunday. Dolores was so kind and had the room ready and we had a good... More

We chose to stay 3 nights with Dolores and Garry because they were close to the airport and we wanted to finish our vacation visiting the sites in County Clare. What a treat! We felt like we were visiting old friends that we've known for years. Bunratty Castle Mews is much more than a place to lay your head, but... More

Dolores is the most accommodating host that one can have. We arrived during an unusually cold period of March and my grandma has bad arthritis. Dolores provided my grandma with special heaters and pads to help her. Breakfast and rooms are excellent. Can't say enough.

I was very happy to spend one night here at my recent trip to Ireland. Charming& comfortable rooms in a former Nun's accomodation. Dolores is the most welcoming and caring and sweetest woman you can think off. The breakfast is wonderful with a traditional Irish breakfast if you like it. It was very cold weather and Dolores put some hot... More

We were fortunate enough to spend one night here during our recent trip to Ireland. What a lovely place! Formerly Nun's accommodation, it is now fitted out with lovely comfortable rooms that are charmingly decorated. Our host was the irrepressible and totally delightful Dolores, who was a wonderful welcoming and helpful host. Just up the road from Bunratty Castle, it... More

Stayed here for a wedding. Booked 2 singles but got 2 doubles anyway. Lovely rooms, nice view, great breakfast, great host. Recommended. Say no more. P.s. be careful not to fall in the ditch on the way back from the pub

I don't think there are enough kind, wonderful words to say about Dolores and her family and my experience. I was greeted with warm hospitality, wonderful cooking and a lot of personal spoiling in the process. Dolores not only explained a lot of things to me, as this was my first trip to Ireland, but gave me a lot of... More

A hidden gem - that is the best way to describe Bunratty Castle Mews! This B&B gives you an idea what irish hospitality means: a really warm and friendly welcome, a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy, beautiful rooms (themed or not and all en suite) make you feel comfortable and a fantastic breakfast (continental, full Irish, lots of fruits,... A very warm welcome by Dolores at the Bunratty Castle Mews. Great hostess, comfy beds, good cooked breakfast. Her energy is amazing and made us feel like we were old friends. Could not fault our stay. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Recommend a meal at Durty Nellies, down by Bunratty Castle.
