Stayed in Avonmore house on 30th and 31st March 2012. Excellent bed and breakfast only a few minutes walk from restaurants in Youghal. Our room was spacious and absolutely spotless. The bathroom was also very clean. We couldn't recommend Avonmore House enough, the cooked breakfast each morning was great. We will be back! More

This really is a fantastic b+b. We stayed here for 3nights, the room is one of the nicest we have stayed in, plenty of space, spotless, quiet and the bed was so comfortable. Beautiful house. Jack welcomed us upon arrival and proceeded to show us to our 3rd floor rooms. The stairs were a little much for our large suitcases, so we took what we needed from them for the night and left them in our car! The rooms were spacious and the showers were warm! Had a very enjoyable night in this house. Very comfortable house. Unfortunately, breakfast was undercooked and looked as if it had been thrown together very quickly. More

On the plus side the breakfast was good and it is a very nice house.However the man of the house does not have a very welcoming attitude and we were accused of breaking an electrical item in the bedroom which was already broken on our arrival.This was an upsetting experience and put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable holiday. Thorley enjoyed my stay at Avonmore House. It is very peaceful and relaxing. Within walking distance from the lovely town of Youghal. It is also a short walk from the beach. More
