On my motor bike runs round Ireland I discovered yet another top quality B&B, Ultra clean and tidy, the rooms are top notch, very comfortable beds, the breakfasts are fantastic and plenty of it. Peaceful and quiet the house its self is set in beautiful high maintained gardens. plenty of parking very safe for motorbikes with being set well back... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights this summer and had an excellent time. The rooms were extremely clean and well-appointed with extra touches like a good hairdryer, biscuits, and a jug of water which really made a difference. The owners were so lovely and provided us with information on bike and boat hire, and even did additional... More

We visited Carramore lodge for two nights in July 2010. The B&B is a ten minute walk from the center of Killaloe, with a very nice garden. It is facing the main road through Killaloe, but it did not disturb our sleep (our room faced the street). The proprietor was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast very good and the... More

We stayed in the Carramore lodge with 2 small children for 1 night. It was a long time ago I stayed in a B&B last time and I couldn't believe the high quality of the place. The garden is beautiful and very big that our kids loved exploring and running around in the evening. Our family room is huge, nice... More

Carramore Lodge is one of the best B&Bs in which I stayed so far. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. A choice of delicious breakfast specialities is served in the morning. We had breakfast in the winter garden with a magnificent view in the beautiful garden surrounding the house. The location of the B&B is quiet, but close to... More

My husband and I stayed there overnight as we were attending a wedding nearby at a local hotel. Our room was spacious and spotless and overlooked a very well maintained garden. It was as comfortable if not better than some hotels we've stayed in for a fraction of the price. Unfortunateiy we missed breakfast but not without the upmost effort... More

We travel with our family to Ireland every two years and always begin our holiday by spending a few nights at Carramore Lodge in Killaloe to recover from our long trip. We have always had a very warm welcome and consistently great service. We especially love the breakfast (great home made Irish bread). The standard of the accommodation is very... More

This was our third visit to Carramore Lodge and as always the food was delicious and plentiful, the room excellent and the hospitality first rate. Eileen and Paul are excellent hosts - friendly, helpful and informative. Add to that the beautiful garden and stunning location with the village being only a short stroll away and you can understand why we... More
