Beautiful hotel, right on the seafront. Some of the hotel needs modernisation but it is clean and has a lot of charm. We had a view of the seafront from our room and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Definately recommend it More

yes as i said in my title absolutly brilliant location amazing views of the sea and howth head .... but the hotel is tired and alittle tatty . I know that most hotels are suffering at the moment . But general soap and water doesnt cost very much. Im glad that we visited Bray and all it has to offer... More

We picked the Esplanade, as it appeared to be handy for a trip to the Aviva. The location was great, parking easy, Dart a 10 min walk then 30 mins direct to Aviva Stadium. Good, clean double room at reasonable price when Dublin hotels were full. Reception friendly and efficient. Dart, station ten minutes walk away, goes all the way to Howth through Dublin city centre including very handy Aviva Stadium stop at Landsdown. Breakfast is available for ten euro, but we made do with coffee making tray in room so can't comment on... More

Chose this hotel for the free parking, walk to train. pleasant staff - bartender made sure the kitchen stayed open for us with 5 minutes to spare, and that was much appreciated. Right on the beach. Clean room. Older hotel, but nice. More

Stayed at the Esplanade over the Easter weekend. The room was nice and large with two double beds. There were tea and coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer in the bathroom, shower (with a very small bath). Our room was quiet and spotlessly clean.
