My niece & I planned our accommodations day to day to fit our sightseeing plans during our 10 day driving adventure in southwestern Ireland.. We found this gem while visiting a local pub in Glengariff - The Blue Loo. What a lively crew we found there! Audrey & Tony turned out to be the best hosts ever! They could not... More

We were so happy to find this place. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was fantastic and, most of all, the host was a pleasure to chat with. She gave us great travel advice and we will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to a friend.

Came across Rockwood House in Glengarriff by chance on our way around the Ring of Beara, we only planned to stop 1 night but ended up staying 5! The O'Mahoney family were very welcoming and had a great knowlege of the surrounding area recommending plenty of places to visit including a boat trip to Garnish Island on the HarbourQueen,a visit... It is hard to be too harsh on this place, given the nice and warm welcome we received. And the host was accommodating, and very friendly. However, the shabby, thrifty, old, and out of date room, the mouldy walls in the bathroom, the thin curtains (which started life as a duvet cover), and the damp and mould in the air,... More

I only intended to spend one night in Glengarriff and Audrey's place fit the bill. I knew as soon as she opened the door, I'd be well taken care of. My room was cozy, clean and homey. Breakfast was about what I expect in an Irish B&B, nothing fancy, but hot and filling. I love places like this because you... More

We spent one night here during our whirlwind tour of Ireland. We stayed in Glengarriff to provide a starting point for our excursion to the Beara Peninsula the next day. All in all, the Rockwood is very serviceable B&B. The room was clean and fairly spacious. The breakfast as standard Irish and the hostess nice. I think our biggest complaint... More
