I loved Ballinsheen House from the minute we pulled up. It is on a hill just outside of town, so the view was pretty. I loved the room! It was one of the few spacious rooms on our trip and Mary take care of all details. The room have a bottle of water, coffee, milk, tea, chocolate and a teamaker... More

This B&B was so inviting and well located that we extended our stay for the 4 of us an additional night and made it our home base for part of our vacation. Mary is one of the most organized people I've met. Every detail was well done...the rooms, the grounds and breakfast. Lisdoonvarna has several restaurants and pubs with nightly... More

We found Ballinsheen House in Lisdoonvarna through a guide book. It's in a lovely spot, elevated on a hill with beautiful garden landscape. Mary, the owner, was so cordial & answered our questions and gave advice. We had a spotless room on the 2nd floor overlooking a territorial view. This was a great location to go to the Cliffs of... Mary was a wonderful, friendly host with a great B&B. She has one of our favorite B&Bs in Ireland. She was very helpful Their B&B was beautiful. The Irish breakfast was grand. If we ever return, we'll definitely visit the her again. More

I loved Ballinsheen House from the minute we pulled up. It is on a hill just outside of town, so the view was pretty. The innkeeper has a beautiful yard and everything was well maintained. We were greeted and welcomed and shown our room. I loved the room! It was one of the few spacious rooms on our trip. There... More

We were just sad we didn't spend more time there. We arrived late at night, after getting a flat tire just as we were arriving in Lisdoonvarna. Mary was so gracious to wait up for us and didn't seem put out at all. The next morning, she helped us contact the local mechanic in town who then made a house... More

My mom and I traveled around Ireland for two weeks staying in B & Bs. This was an excellent choice for us as we stayed two nights in each locations. Ballinsheen House was beautiful and easy access to downtown. We used it as a jumping point for visiting the Cliffs of Mohr and the Burren. Mary was a great hostess... More

This is a beautiful B&B, situated on lush grounds. The owner, Mary, was a wonderful hostess. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, as was the whole house and the gardens were beautiful. There was ample parking. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed a special treat of hot croissants one morning. The town was conveniently within a few minutes... More
