I stayed with my wife and son and a travel cot was provided for us, which was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The room overlooked the garden and was nice and quiet so no problems sleeping. The old shutters were very useful blocking out the evening sun so I get put my... More

We stayed in the Ardagh House for a week in March 2012. The guest house is lovely and homely. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice - not lots of selection but hot and tasty. The only fault I would have with our stay was the shower. The water ran cold for the first 2 days. The... More

Mary and Will are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts. Greeting us at the door, knowing exactly which bookings we were. Helping us find a room to settle in before our room was ready. The B&B is cosy and homely, my favourite part being the breakfast in the morning- hot and cooked to order. The whole house is relaxing and... More

My friend and i shared a twin room over this weekend. We chose it as she wanted a place to park her car and i knew this building had plenty off street parking. The room was 70 euro in total including breakfast. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The garden is amazing. It is boutique hotel standard. The breakfast... More

This B&B offered everything travelers on a budget could ask for. The building in which it is situated is in good shape and nicely decorated, while the welcoming was hospitable and sincere. Our room was spotless and comfortable, as was the bathroom. No noise whatsoever at night, so we had a good night's sleep. And then there was the breakfast,... More

Stayed with my wife for one night only on a cold November day. Mrs Mary Doyle had welcomed us on a door (one must ring the bell) and we felt immediate warmness of the house from every aspect. One can recognize good guest house by its lobby - in this particular case we experienced home-like atmosphere. Upon getting into room... More

My wife and I stayed here from 15-20 September. Mary and Willy Doyle couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The house dates back to the turn of the last century and is conveniently located on Dublin Bus route 128 and just a stone’s throw from Trinity Hall, where we were setting up our daughter for the year. Our big... More

I stayed here with my Mum in September. We found it to be a lovely, comfortable B&B with the friendly, welcoming owners raising the standard. We had a lovely room with view to the large garden at the rear. Very clean bedroom , spotless bathroom, crisp bedlinen. Really good breakfast. Owners are always around to help with directions etc. Rathgar... More

We stayed at Ardagh for two nights in August 2011. The B&B is a beautiful ‘manor home’ style dwelling in a nice residential area of Dublin. The property is spotlessly clean in every respect and quite comfortable. Staff were available, polite and very helpful. The breakfast room and sitting rooms are beautiful with tall ceilings, classic furnishings and tasteful decoration.... More

Spent a night here revisiting Dublin, the Ardagh is very well located with good off street parking, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable, clean facilities. The Ardagh provides excellent value for money and I will certainly use it again. More
