Stopped here on our way to Ennis for a bite to eat. We ordered bar food - I ordered a plain ham and mustard sandwich and my husband ordered the open chicken and bacon sandwich. My sandwich was very good - home cooked ham on lovely soft fresh bread. My husband's bacon and chicken sandwich was really good, served on... More

The price was the standard rack rate and reasonable for the facilities provided. The welcome at reception was warm and pleasant and everywhere we went in the hotel was very clean. The hotel decor is 'interesting', quite 'busy' and it doesn't fit into any current interior design fashion that I'm aware of, a sort of 21st century baronial hall style.... More

Stayed for one night bed and breakfast for a Holy Communion in the area. Very spacious rooms and wonderful choice at breakfast (which was cooked perfectly). Stayed in room 148 which was the only downside, it's right across the corridor from the gym and if you were trying for a little afternoon nap there is a little bit of back... More

Stayed here for four nights at the end of April. Was pleasently surprised bearing in mind the price we paid. This hotel was a real find! The room was enormous, and they had placed us out of the way as we were there for four nights ( very thoughful). Room was clean and well equipped and bathroom had loads of... More

The Lady Gregory was a stopover last minute reservation as we were passing through. It was pretty rowdy when we arrived and I worried that the room might not be quiet enough for us to sleep well, but once everyone settled in for the night it was very peaceful and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful and there was... More

Enjoyed a nice evening at the Lady Gregory. Rooms ( we had 2) were large and welcoming, the bathrooms had both tub and shower; enjoyed a bubble bath and sound sleep on the comfy beds. Service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast filling and tasty. I highly recommend a visit.

We found this hotel by chance after deciding to cancel our stay at a B&B in the same area. The Lady Gregory has only been a hotel, restaurant/bar for about 13 years, having formerly been a school for boys. A local businessman purchased it and rennovated it to what you find today. This is a beautiful establishment with lots of... More

The midweek rate on this hotel is dirt cheap, and is a must if you're travelling, as we were, from the north west of Ireland down to the very south. An excellent stopover for the night. We are a couple, and were given a family room. Very generous room size, with lovely ensuite bathroom. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities in... More

Just after staying in the hotel for a wedding. Nice venue. The food at the wedding was really nice and the breakfast this morning was one of the nicest I have ever had. Try the white pudding . ....,.,............
