We stopped for lunch in the midst of a spectacular sightseeing trek. The staff were most attentive, prompt and gracious and the building and grounds were clean and tidy inside and out. We had only intended staying one night at the newly refurbished and renamed Ring of Kerry Hotel, but ended up staying the week! Our room was perfect and the staff so welcoming. Absolutely awful. I cannot say enough bad things about this place. The owner is abusive and completely disagreeable. The food leaves much to be desired, in fact leaving it on the plate is the only thing desirable about it.
