Greeted by Deirdre and Noel with tea and hot biscuits. Very much appreciated. This couple is so warm and welcoming. Felt right at home and comfortable. They are very knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating. Even if you have no business in Carrick-on-Shannon, it's worth the visit just to visit them and the area!!! I hope I can return.... We loved to stay at Clenahoo House. Deirdre are Noel are such great hosts! You feel that they love to have guests in their house. When we arrived Deirdre made tea and we talked about everything and anything - great. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are beautiful.

You couldn't ask for more welcoming hosts than Deirdre and Noel. From the moment you arrive at their lovely B&B, you're lavished with tea, cake and chat. Clenahoo House is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Carrick-on-Shannon. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is a feast, leave yourself plenty of time to... More

The rooms were spacious and the facilites immaculate. Their suggestion for a place for dinner that evening was a perfect choice. This is... More

We stayed for one night at Clenahoo House as we were meeting friends the next day. Noel and Deirdre were fantastic hosts, friendly and welcoming. The house was spotless and well laid out, with great parking facilities (motorcycle friendly too!) Our room was a double - again, spotlessly clean, with loads of storage and very comfortable. We enjoyed the Craic... More

We stayed at Clenahoo House for 3 nights for a wedding. On arrival Deidre was very welcoming. The room was lovely - clean and comfortable. During the stay our hosts couldn't do more for us; they went far and above what they needed to do. They ironed our clothes for the wedding, they dropped us into town as we didn't... More
