We just got back from Ireland and my third trip to Ard Na Greine which as usual didn't disappoint. The welcome mat is always open at this b&b set on a dairy farm in West Cork. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The owner, Norma, doesn't scrimp on breakfasts- with the full traditional Irish breakfast all cooked to order and... More

Norma Walsh's Ard Na Greine is a rural experience you simply must include in your tour of southern Ireland, especially if you are somewhat weary of the villages and are looking for a bit of the green pastoral landscape. Ard Na Greine is right off of the N71 if you are heading south from Cork City to Skibbereen. Norma will... More

My family and I arrived at Ard Na Greine on Sunday 12/8/2012. We received the most wonderful welcome from Norma and she then provided us with tea and scones after showing us to our bedroom. I was sharing a room with my daughter and granddaughter and could not fault it. We had a large double bed and 2 single beds... More

If you want to visit the village where Henry Ford's family started, then this is the place to stay. The village is around the corner. It is also a perfect spot for visiting Kinsale, Clonakilty, Blarney Castle, etc. We decided to have dinner while staying at Norma's farm. What a good decision this was. In a month in Ireland it... During our 2 week stay in Ireland travelling with our dog, Ard Na Greine and hostess Norma was the best. Lovely comfy beds, gorgeous breakfast and evening meals all served up with a genuine Irish welcome. We will certainly be recommending this B&B to our friends and hope to be visiting Clonakilty again in the future.

I've had my fair share of B&B experiences and this one just cannot be beaten! Everything about this B&B is excellent...the food, the beds, the views, the cleanliness and last, but by no means least, the hostess Norma! She provides a welcome like no other, supplying you with freshly baked scones and all the information about the area that you... More

My family of four had a great time in Clonakilty, and loved our stay with Norma at her B&B. We checked out the working farm adjacent to the house, had a great ramble around Clonakilty and environs, and enjoyed the company of Benson, the humongous teddy-bear Newfoundland/Bernese mix. Delicious breakfast, too! Very recommended!

This lovely dairy farm in an idyllic setting was the perfect place for us to light after having a hectic tourist day. Norma, a warm motherly hostess, made us feel at home immediately and served a wonderful sea bass dinner. The room was spacious and the view from the window included rolling hills with dairy cattle. Breakfast the next morning... More

We had a wonderful time at Ard Na Greine. Norma Walsh the owner is a wonderful cook, friendly person. The farmhouse is clean and decorated with flare and quailty. Outside the farm is clean and well maintain. The food that was offer was like a french restuarant we highly recommend this B&B to anyone that is traveling Ireland.
