We had our second stay at Fountain House B&B last weekend. This is the BEST B&B you'll find so don't waste time searching for one, just book Fountain House. I came home to discover I'd lost my ring (I'd had it for over 30 years and was sorely disappointed). What a surprise I got when the owner of the B&B... More

We were made welcome late in the evening after an atrocious drive from the Dublin Ferry Port. The purpose of this visit was the need for unrivaled Irish fishing and most importantly that the hotel be dog friendly. All was achieved very easily, fishing available at the bottom of the garden on a private beach, which proved very productive with... More

With a group of friends (six of us) I stayed from 26th September to to 29th September in Fountain House. We are a group who are reviving our Irish language together, and our teacher organised a tour of the area where Art O'Leary was murdered. We arrived at Fountain House about 2pm, to a great welcome by Breda Condon, a... More

Having spent three days of welcome, good food and kindliest hospitality, we returned to Dublin feeling refreshed and looking forward to our next visit to Macroom. Brida, despite her busy day, welcomed us each evening in to her charmingly located and comfortable house on the River Lee. Keen pricing a plus!

Everything he said, plus the fabulous lakeside tea parties! Cannot fault this place for hospitality, convenience, breakfasts and fishing quality.. The hostess Breda goes beyong the call of duty to make your stay a happy and successful one.

Just come back from a week at Fountain House. Great location for anglers - loads of bank space at end of garden - with more fish than Inniscarra - Mountains of food and Breda can't do enough for guests. Good pubs and food in nearby Macroom (two miles) and locals all friendly.

Our first visit to Ireland and our first stopoff. Despite being on a main road, the property is set back and very quiet. Backs on to a gorgeious lake - GREAT for FISHERFOLK! Wish we'd brought our fly rods! Breda made us most welcome; breakfast was great. Helping me out with our pile of laundry after England was hugely appreciated!... More

We stayed in Fountain House on our recent trip to the Cork/Kerry region. The standard of accommodation we stayed in during our trip was good but this was by far the best.As a family of four traveling with 2 toddlers we met our challenges but not here. Our hostess Breda could not of done enough for us.The room we had was clean...
